Lowell E. Delaney Lowell E. Delaney, 67, of Riverview, surrounded by his family, passed away suddenly at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, August 22, 2005. Born in Summerside, PE, he was the son of the late Preston (Goldie) and Grace (Berry) Delaney. Lowell was a retired chartered accountant and former partner of Grant Thornton LLP. He was former owner of Willow Office Specialties Inc. (19831996), past president of Lewisville Minor Hockey Assn., past president of the NB Arthritis Society, former member of the Moncton Rotary Club and the Focus Camera Club. He attended First United Baptist Church and at present was President of the Moncton 4 Ice Sports Inc. In his leisure time he enjoyed salmon fishing and spending quality time with his family. Lowell will be sadly missed by his wife, Shirley (Bell) Delaney of 43 years; his daughter, Katherine Gallen (Trevor), Kentville, NS; sons, Michael (Leanne), Mark (Shelley), both of Riverview; grandchildren, Kieran, Emma, Shayne, Keegan and Matthew; sister-in-law Marie Cormier (late Roderick), Summerside, PE; one niece, Angela Fullerton (Jon); two nephews, Duke Cormier (Betsy), Jason Cormier (Carmelisa). Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Ethylene Lockwood. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton (858-1995), Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.
