PARKES, BESSIE M. The funeral service for Bessie M. Parkes, was held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday August 17, 2005 with Father Bill Elliott officiating. The organist was Colleen Beesley. The pallbearers were Julie Garnett, Jackie Orr, Bobby Ryan, Donald Landry, Theresa Mailman and Lori Garnett. Donations made in memory of Bessie were made to The Church of the Resurrection; Alzheimer Society; Loch Lomond Villa Foundation including one from Loch Lomond Villa Inc.; New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation; Canadian Cancer Society; Hospice Saint John Inc.; Mass Cards and Sympathy Cards. Interment took place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery. [Telegraph-Journal]
