Gord "Ernie" O'Toole August 19, 1952 - August 22, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel (Tecumseh) With loving family by his side, Gord passed away Monday, August 22, 2005 at the age of 53. For all who struggle with cancer, especially the loving caregivers, this is for you after my brief battle. Loving husband, father, grandfather and dearest friend. He will be missed by his loving wife of 26 years, Theresa O'Toole (Beaupre), adoring daughter Kelly and husband Curtis Damphouse. Proud grandfather of the precious Hayley Rae. Dear son of Dorothy O'Toole-Wall and the late Jerry. Amazing brother of Debbie and John Craven (London); Karen and Ken Deane (Toronto) and Cyndy and Tim McCourt (Windsor). Son-in-law of Fleur-Ange Beaupre and the late Leo. Brother-in-law of Ed and Diane Gerard and Paul Beaupre. Godfather to Joel Prieur and Brenden Kerr. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Gord was a proud employee of Hiram Walker's where he worked as a purchasing agent and touched the lives of many. He was a member of the Fr. Nicholas Point Council 4375 Tecumseh Knights of Columbus. A very special thanks to Kevin and Greg from Primecare and Lori from Comcare. To all of you, my friends, who touched my life, I'll meet you on the first tee. Ernie, we will miss your humour, your laughter, your smile, your kindness and caring nature, and most of all your stupid jokes. You touched the lives of many. " Go Leafs, Go!" Visiting Wednesday, from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. K. of C. prayers Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. The funeral will be held on Friday, August 26, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. from The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830) to St. Anne Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment at St. Anne Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, a donation to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Gord O'Toole in the Marcotte Heritage Forest.
