William James Halischuk January 22, 1950 - August 20, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Glen Eden Funeral Home (Winnipeg) It is with great sorrow the family wishes to announce the passing of William Halischuk, age 55 at St. Boniface Hospital on August 20, 2005 with his best friend Donna Heinzman at his side, after a battle with heart disease. Bill was born in Belmont, Manitoba, but lived in Haywood, Manitoba., then in West St. Paul. He worked in the construction field all his working years. Bill had a sense of humor, loved being with his family and friends, enjoyed music and fishing. Always willing to give a helping hand. Bill leaves to grieve his passing his mother, Helen Halischuk, his daughters Mona (Vern) Cooper of Clandeboye; Tammy (Greg) Holunga of Calgary, Rachel of Winnipeg and Ashley of Portage La Prairie. His grandchildren - Vance, Austin Cooper, Alex and Isaac Holunga, Xavier and Sundance. Brothers; Al (Carol) of Surrey, BC, Robert (Kim) of Wpg., sisters Bernice Beaulieu of Wpg., Carol (Curt) Bird, Warren, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and best friend Donna Heinzman. He was predeceased by his father John Halischuk, December 2003 and brother-in-law Roland Beaulieu, 1986. Our many thanks to Dr. Lee and all the Staff at St. Boniface Hospital Cardiology Department for their kind and gentle care throughout his illness. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home with reception to follow.
