Walter Car (Czar) June 04, 1928 - August 22, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Glen Eden Funeral Home (Winnipeg) After a brief illness, on Monday, August 22, 2005, Walter passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 77 years. Walter was predeceased by his parents Dmytro and Marta, brothers - John, Bill, Mike, sisters – Anne, Phillis and Elsie as well as several nieces and nephews. Walter is survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family. Walter was born and raised in Skylake, Manitoba, where he left at a young age to work various jobs up North in the mining industry, which included Yellowknife, N.W.T., Northern Manitoba and Ontario. Walter had come to Winnipeg after the Bissett mine closed and went to work with IKO Industries and Active Management up to his retirement. Special thanks to Dr. Salan and the staff of the 5th floor – Unit 7, Seven Oaks Hospital. In lieu of flowers donations made be made to Heart and Stroke and Canadian Cancer Society.
