Ida (Ritchie) formerly of Poplar St., at the age of 88. Wife of the late Ralph Sears (November 23, 2001). Dear mother of Lynda Sears, Pat (Wayne Johnston) all of Peterborough and the late Ron Sears (August 17, 2004). Loving grandmother of Melissa (Garnet Sage), Amy (Peter), Laura Johnston, Ron Sears Jr., Kim (Glen Curnew), Kathy, Jackie, John, Reg (Jane), Clint (Lisa) Cudmore and Todd Green, 18 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Sister of May Pogson of Toronto and the late Gorman Ritchie and Beatrice Sisson. Brother-in-law to Russell and June Sears of Orillia. Friends will be received at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 600 Monaghan Rd. S. from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service from the Nisbett Chapel on Wednesday August 31, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. followed by cremation. Mr. Paul George officiating.
