Valerie ROBERTS

STEPHENS, Dr. Valerie Peacefully at age 50 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit on July 30, 2005. Loving daughter of Winnifred Roberts. Dear wife of Robert (Bob) for 29 years and beloved mother of Andrew. Survived by her two maternal aunts, Joyce Draper and Roberta Hobbs and her paternal aunt, Jessie Sinclair. Valerie obtained her Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry degrees and taught at Master's Bible College (formerly EPBC). She was in private practice as a pastoral counsellor. Valerie will be missed by her many dear friends, colleagues and clients. Friends may call at the Comstock Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 356 Rubidge St., Peterborough, Ontario on Tuesday, August 2nd from 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 1421 Landsdowne St. W., Peterborough on Wednesday, August 3rd at 1:00 p.m. with visitation prior to the service from 11:00-1:00 p.m. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
