WHYTE, Marguerite (nee Pepper) March 3, 1921 - July 31, 2005 Peacefully at Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness that was dealt with by her courage, wit, grace and good nature. Her greatest energies over the years were focused on her family. She was a loving wife of the late Gordon (1996). Cherished mother of Annette, Judith Tanner, Carroll (predeceased 1992), Christopher (Ruth MacLennan), Gordon (Cindy Gray), and Sheila (Clayton Kennedy). Proud and loving grandmother of Emily, Nicholas, Mitchell, Teagan, and Adam. Beloved sister of Annette Cummins (Virginia), Kathleen Klein (Montreal) and John Pepper (Montreal). She will be lovingly remembered by many cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her life-long friend Winnifred Jones (nee Fairhead). Friends may call at the Beechwood Cemetery Reception Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave., Ottawa on Friday, August 5, 2005 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. A graveside interment of cremated remains will be held at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital.
