DARLINGTON, John Allan Peacefully at home with his loving wife by his side, after a courageous 7 year battle with cancer, Thursday, August 4, 2005, at the age of 59. Cherished and devoted husband of Andrea (nee Allain) for 37 years. Loving father of Julie Lloyd (Claude), Cindy Spence (Chad) and John Allan II (Corina). Proud grandpa of his loving grandchildren Amanda, Sarah and Vanessa. Survived by his mother Joyce Darlington (the late Allan). Dear brother of Nancy Notman (Robert) and Bonnie Holliday (Wesley). John will be fondly remembered by many family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Nancy Lazare, nurse Karen Elchakich, the VON, the staff at the Cancer Clinic and the OGH for all their care and support. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 580 Eagleson Road, Kanata, Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Monday to Christ Anglican Church, Ashton for Service at 11 am.
