McALEAR, Dalton Macarius At his residence on Friday, August 5, 2005. He was 88. Left to mourn are his loving wife of 56 years Katherine Veronica (Fraser) McAlear, his children Charles (Sandra), Shawn (Laurie) and Maureen McAlear, all of St. Andrews West, Gerrie (Grace of Pefferlaw, ON, Donald (Margie) of Almonte, ON, Karen McClennaghan (James) of Martintown and Paul (Pamela) of Long Sault. Loving grandpa to Anna, Tyler, Rebecca, Grace, Liam, Emmett, Ethan, Sadie and Benjamin McAlear and Moira, Colin and Kara McClennaghan and Papa Dalt to Dawn, Stephanie, Curtis, Heather Garfield and their children. Predeceased by his parents Hugh J. and Catherine (Jarvo) McAlear, brothers Murray, Hillary, James (Laurette), Joseph (Louise) and Hubert (Yvonne) and sisters Ida Gerrie and Rhoda McAlear. Friends may call at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall), Cornwall on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass Monday, August 8, 2005 in St. Andrews Catholic Church, St. Andrews West at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow in the parish cemetery.
