SIMPSON, Helen Adelaide Peacefully in her sleep in Stoneridge Manor at Carleton Place, Ontario on Thursday, August 4, 2005. Helen Adelaide Johnson at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Eric James Simpson. Loving mother of Donna Jonsson (late Allan), Ruth Drummond (John) and Donald (Judi). Dear "Nanny" of Mark Drummond (Gena), Leisa Rosenquist (Eric), Tracy Regehr (Brent), Chris Jonsson, Ian Jonsson, Karin Lepine (Pierre) and Andy, Nathan and Robert Simpson. Great-nanny of Sarah, Adam, Meghan, Mataylon, Tobias, Kaylin, Dana, Carter and Clinton. Survived by her sister Margaret Murray and sister-in-law Milly Chapman. Best friend for 73 years of Jessie C. Morton of Almonte. Predeceased by her brother William Johnson. Friends may call at the 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Monday from 12 noon until time of funeral service to be held in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Almonte.
