SALMON, Mary (Maizie) nee Brophy Passed away peacefully on Friday, August 5, 2005 at the Smiths Falls Unit of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital, at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by her husband John T. (Jack) Salmon, dearly loved mother of the late Patricia (Wayne) Silverson, Markham, Ontario, Joan (Dave) Preston, Boston, Ma. and Bill (Carmen) Salmon, Kettleby, Ontario. She will be greatly missed by her loving grandchildren Ted (Beth) Preston and Julie (Matthew Lehman) Preston, Chris and Trevor (Dana) Silverson, Alana and Marissa Salmon and her 5 great-grandchildren Smauel and Carley Lehman, Jack and Grace Preston and Gavin Silverson. Also survived by her sisters Eileen Dumbrill, Frankie Cracknell and Rita Acheson of Ottawa and by her many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Lannin Funeral Home in Smiths Falls on Wednesday, August 10, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 11, 2005 at St. Frances de Sale Catholic Church, Smiths Falls at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Francis de Sales Parish Cemetery. For those wishing to remember Maizie in a special way, donations to the ALS Society in memory of her daughter Pat or to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
