YORK, Verna Peacefully in hospital on Tuesday, August 9, 2005, in her 92nd year. Verna Hawkins of Osgoode, beloved wife of the late Harold York. Dear mother of Ken (Ann) of Osgoode, Marlene Selleck (Keith) of Spencerville and Tom of Osgoode. Sister of Lorna Ferguson of Osgoode, sister-in-law of Marion (Wilbert, predeceased), Edna, Maynard and Orville, all predeceased. Survived by 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Lee Cummings Funeral Home, North Gower on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., followed by funeral service on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment Union Cemetery.
