BAKER, Vernon Godfrey In hospital on Tuesday, August 9, 2005, Vernon Baker of Greely in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Eletta Jessie (Patterson). Dear father of Carol (Wesley Matheson), Terry (Viv) and Elaine (Bruce Goodhue). Loved by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Brother of Rowena Cunning, Percy Baker, Eileen Pero, Eric (Lil) Baker and the late Arnold and Reginald Baker. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 6971 Bank Street (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 7 - 9 p.m. Thursday. Royal Canadian Legion #627-Greely Branch will be holding a service Thursday evening at 8:45 p.m. Funeral Friday to All Saint's Anglican Church, Parkway Road, Greely for Service at 1 p.m. Interment St. John the Divine Anlgican Cemetery, Merivale Road.
