RAFTER, Edith Rose (nee Wright) Peacefully at the Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre on Thursday, August 11, 2005 in her 92nd year. Beloved daughter of the late Thomas Wright and the late Lillian Allan. Dearly beloved wife of the late Harry Andrew Rafter. Dear mother of Ken (Pat "Marce"), Joy Dufour (Ron), Les (Evelyn) and Bruce (Valerie). Fondly remembered by her seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Mildred Holman. Predeceased by brother Allan and sister Ruth Gainer. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway on Sunday, August 14, 2005 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, August 15th from 9:30 a.m. until Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions to the Alzheimers' Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
