WESTOBY, Arthur Arthur Westoby of Nepean, passed peacefully at Garden Terrace on Thursday, August 11, 2005, at the age of 98. Arriving from England in 1931, he settled at the Craig family farm on Greenbank Road for what was to become his home and extended family of 5 generations over the next 74 years. "Uncle Art" will be sadly missed by all the Craig family, the many friends whose lives he touched and relatives remaining in England. A determined man of incredible will, yet a quiet and gentle soul, his love of the earth and for life itself will continue to inspire us all. His quick sense of humour will forever thread our memories of wonderful times together. We know he continues to watch over us, as was his way. Our family would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the staff at Garden Terrace for the care, respect and grace they gave during his stay with them. Friends may call at the Tubman Funeral Home - Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Road from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, August 16th. A private family service will follow at The Pinecrest Cemetery.
