LUGER, Carol. On August 14, 2005 after a long and courageous battle at the Montreal General Hospital at the age of forty-six. Beloved daughter of Oscar and the late Judith Luger. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Gregory and Cathy Luger, Kathy and Ronnie Teitelbaum. Treasured aunt of Sarah, Rebecca, and Michael Luger; Melissa, Adam, and Emily Teitelbaum. Loving niece of Claire and Myer Gottesman and lifetime best friend of Donna Haltrecht. We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Borod and the nurses of the 10th and 17th floors, Palliative Care Unit, Montreal General Hospital who helped make Carol's last months as comfortable as possible. Special thanks to her nurses Judith Marthessault and Cathy Rigas as well as her caregiver Cassie who was with Carol until the end. Funeral Service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Wednesday, August 17 at 10:45 a.m. Burial at the Beit Abraham Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at 5565 Rosedale.
