GUEVREMONT, Rene Peacefully in his 81st year on Thursday, August 11, 2005 in Montreal. Beloved husband of the late Gaetane (nee Lefebvre). Loved father of Alain (Marie-Josee Gendron), Johanne (Tom Howe), Claude (Lise Lemieux). Loving Grandfather of Marc, Patrick, Natalie, Mathieu, Sean, Danielle and Julie. Rene lived a life full of family friends, spending his adult years in Ottawa, Montreal and his beloved cottage in Rawdon (PQ). He dedicated his career to Canada Post, retiring in 1985. Our dear father and grandfather will always be remembered for his sage advice, common sense, love of current affairs and politics, and the selfless devotion he gave his wife though her failing health. Above all, Rene was a man of honour and integrity. Despite our fond memories, he will be sorely missed.
