OBITUARY VIOLET MAY McCONACHIE (nee SMALLWOOD) On August 13, 2005, at the age of eighty-one, surrounded by family, at the Anna Laberge Hospital (Chateauguay). Beloved wife of sixty-two years of John McConachie, loving mother to Rosemary (James), Robert (Colleen), Barbara (Johnny) and Linda (Jean); and cherished by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by two loving sisters: Doris and Bella, and many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at: 123 Maple Street, Chateauguay Tuesday, August 16 and Wednesday, August 17 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday, August 18 at 11 a.m., thence to Field of Honour, Pointe Claire.
