CHAPMAN, Jack L. Flt/Lt., RAF (Retired) 1922-2005 Jack passed away on August 14th, 2005 following a lengthy battle with cancer. Jack flew in Bomber Command Lancasters during WW2; seeing service in Europe, Burma and India. After the war he completed a successful career in the fur industry, finally retiring from the position of President of Burkholder Furs, Ottawa. This was followed by many happy retirement years travelling and having fun with his family and friends. Private funeral. Words cannot express the family's gratitude for the wonderful care Jack received at the Ottawa Civic Hospital's Surgical and Cancer Units and the Elizabeth Bruyere Hospital; donations to any of which would be greatly appreciated.
