Doris LAVALLEE

LAVALLEE, Doris (Feb. 11, 1921 - Aug. 18, 2005) Peacefully after a courageous and valiantly fought battle with Alzheimers. She has joined her husband Mac ('95), father Willis ('68), mother Pearl ('94) and brother Melvin Thomas ('99) at the Pearly Gates. A wonderful "mom" to daughters Joyce (Ambrose Hass), Elaine (Lloyd Schultz) and son Grant (Marlene Friske). Left to grieve are 8 grandchildren: Daniel (Lynn), Donald (Cathy), Dodge, Tammy (Ron) Selle, Lisa (Trevor) Brohart, Chris (Enngyeony) Schultz, Mark (Fiancee Lisa), Chad (Kady) and Mandy Lavallee. Warmly loved by 8 great-grandchildren: Roland, Casey and Sarah Dodge, Jocelyn and Corey Sell, twins Alora and Hannah Lavallee, and MaKayla Brohart. Survived by sisters Isobel Toner and Sarah (Sadi) Humphries. Resting at the McPhail & Perkins Funeral Home, 85 Munro Ave. at Lorne, Renfrew, on Saturday from 7 - 9 p.m., Sunday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. and Monday 9:30 - 10 a.m. Funeral Monday to the Lochwinnoch Presbyterian Church for service at 11 a.m. Interment Castleford Cemetery.
