CONNELL, David Joseph Ronald Saturday, August 20, 2005, David Connell, age 55, beloved husband of the late Irene Anne (nee Benzaitis) Connell. Son of Ben and the late Agnes (nee Morrison) Connell. Son-in-law of the late Joseph and Katherine Benzaitis. His family members and friends will remember David as an avid adventurer who loved to travel and discover new places, a passionate volunteer who spent a large part of his later life raising awareness and money for good causes, a loving generous prankster and, finally, the deeply spiritual man who now walks with God. He touched so many lives, giving hope to those who had none, showing through example how to live a loving and full life through great adversity with dignity and humour. David will be remembered and deeply missed. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset Street (centretown) Sunday, August 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, August 22 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday to Blessed Sacrament Church, 194 Fourth Ave. for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery, Montreal Road at St. Laurent. In memoriam donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation.
