PROULX, Pierre It is with deep sadness that the family of Pierre Proulx announces his passing in hospital, on August 23, 2005, at the age of 37. Pierre was a devoted and loving father to his young son Logan. His deepest regret was that he would not see him grow up. Pierre is the cherished son of Michel and Carol Proulx; adored brother of Danielle; precious grandson of May Hart; dear godson of Pierre and Margaret Proulx; and loving friend of Michelle Charette. Pierre will be best remembered for his quick wit and delightful story-telling abilities by all who knew him. He had a flair for cooking and a passion for music. Other interests included sports, snowmobiling and camping. Thank you to everyone who reached out to Pierre during his illness, especially our families who have been our strength throughout this difficult period. We also wish to thank the many compassionate health care workers involved in Pierre's care at the General Campus of the Ottawa Hospital including the staff in the Cancer Centre, Emergency, Radiology, Pharmacology, the Thrombosis Unit and the Oncology Ward. Our appreciation also extends to the excellent community health care provided to Pierre at his home in Carleton Place. Pierre's cremated remains will be interred at Beechwood Cemetery Botanical Gardens at which time a private graveside service will take place. Condolences may be mailed to 51 Park Avenue, Carleton Place, Ontario K7C 2H9.
