Sadie MILLEY

SOWCHUK, Sadie (Milley) 1935 - 2005 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Sadie, at home in Ottawa on August 22, 2005. Sadie was born in Burnt Point, Newfoundland, the daughter of Jacob and Mary Ellen (Garland) Milley. Sadie is survived by her daughters Adriann Sowchuk (Michael Knight) & MaryAnn Sowchuk (Scott McClennon, grandchildren Morgan and Aaron), special niece Diane Booth of Burlington (Rachael and Jesse), her sisters Louise Woodall (Ernie) of Burlington, Hazel Frazer (Beth, Francis, Valerie, and Jacob) of New Waterford Nova Scotia, and Lily Catherine Milley of Toronto. Sadie was predeceased by her loving husband Alexander, November 21, 2003 and by her father, mother, and brother Leonard. A memorial service will be held at St. Mark's Anglican Church, in Ottawa on Friday, August 26 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a reception in the hall. We request due to severe allergies that no scented products be worn. The family is grateful to the Palliative Care Outreach Program, CCAC and VON who enabled Sadie to remain at home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to St. Mark's Church or to the Palliative Care Outreach Program.
