MEREDITH, Jessie Francis Leach Ritchie R. N. Former director of Volunteers at the Ottawa Civic. Moved on to a better place at the Village of Taunton Mills (Whitby) on Monday, August 22, 2005 at 85 years young. Predeceased by husbands Dr. Jim Ritchie and Sergeant Alvin Meredith. Dear sister of Margaret Pender. Stepmother to Elizabeth Mills, the late Dorothy Ritchie and John Meredith. Devoted grandmother to James and Timothy Mills and Sean and Iain Meredith. Aunt of Ken, Sam and Frank Dillabough. Great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. Devoted caregiver and supporter to many throughout her life. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and family. A celebration of her life will be held at St. Martins Anglican Church, 2120 Prince Charles, on Saturday, August 27, 2005 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.
