SWEETNAM, Dorothy "Dot" Peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Bert Sweetnam. Dear mother of Shelby Phillips (Rex) of Nepean and Lynn Raymond (Roger) of Orleans. Loving grandmother of Brian, Nancy, Jeffrey, Meghan, Erin and great-grandmother of Hannah, Dylan, Alyssa, Tyler and Donovan. Also survived by daughter-in-law Charlene of Sault Ste. Marie, sisters Mary, Helen, and Olive. Predeceased by her son Randy, sisters Mabel, Jeanne, Ada and brothers Archie, Ben and Harold. Our deepest appreciation to Dr. D. Bishop and the dedicated and caring staff at the Rideau Perley. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Woodvale Pentecostal Church, 205 Greenbank Rd. Nepean on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment Stittsville United Cemetery. Those wishing may make memorial donations to Woodvale Pentecostal Children's Ministry or Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre.
