GOLDEN, Maybelle Margaret (nee MacLeod) After a short illness in hospital at Ottawa, Ontario with her loving daughters by her side on Friday, August 26, 2005, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Golden. Cherished mother of Donna Nield and Norma Ryan. Adored Nanny of Debbie-Lynn, Tamarra (George), Jason (Alison), Curtis (Jennifer), Buddy, Chad (Diana) and great-Nanny of Stephan, Tyler, Jacob, Jonathan, Claire, Easton, Cameron and Paige. Much loved mother-in-law of Terry Nield whom we lost just 2 months ago. Also predeceased by her parents Norman and Mary MacLeod and by her brothers and sisters Stuart, Leonard, Donald, Ada, Clifford and her dear Isabelle. She will be greatly missed by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Patsy MacLeod, Lena and Joe Binette, Catherine Golden, Fred and Edna Golden and by many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, August 29, from 12:30 p.m. until time of the service in the chapel at 2 p.m. with Reverend Hugh Jack officiating. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to Dr. R. Webb and Dr. G. Buckley and staff at the Carleton Place Hospital, and to Dr. Whetter and staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. Much appreciation to all staff at the Carleton Place Manor where she truly enjoyed her last 8 months.
