BRAITHWAITE, Luther. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of "Lou", on August 26th, 2005, two weeks shy of his eighty-third birthday. Father to Martin and Wayne, grandfather to David and Douglas and also great-grandchildren. Dearly missed by his second family, his companion the late Florence Gittens, Louise, Brian, Sheri (Chuck), Tricia, Leslie and Briana. Very proud member of the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps of the Canadian Army. Lou worked for forty years at Central Station for VIA Rail. He now will be riding the "A-train" to see "the man upstairs". Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Parlour, 5784 Verdun Ave., in Verdun, Thursday, September 1 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, September 2, service at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
