HAMILTON, William "Bill" Passed away with bravery and dignity at the Grey-Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Friday, August 26th, 2005, at the age of 73 years. Bill Hamilton of Port Elgin, originally of Renfrew. husband of the former Dawn Scharff, father of Kim and her husband Al Rice of Port Elgin, Robert Hamilton of Owen Sound, and Scott and his wife Teresa of Port Elgin. "Number 1" Papa to Christopher and Jamie Rice, and Taylor and Curtis Hamilton. Brother of Helen and her husband Ed Anderson, and Jean Cook of Renfrew, and Robert Hamilton and his wife Loretta of Cornwall. He will be greatly missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law. Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin (Town of Saugeen Shores) from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, August 29th. Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, Port Elgin, on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. with Father Mike Francis as celebrant. A reception with the family will be held in Jubilee Hall at St. Joseph's immediately following mass. Further visitation will take place at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St., Renfrew, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Committal and interment is to take place at St. Francis-Xavier Cemetery in Renfrew on Friday morning at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Grey-Bruce Branch of the Victorian Order of Nurses would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
