CHARBONNEAU, Oscar E. A member of the Knights of Columbus for 61 years, nominated lifetime member, he was a founding member of Eastview council 5571. Surrounded by his family on Friday, August 26, 2005 at the age of 93. My love it is very difficult to let you go after 67 years of love. From our love came beautiful children and a loving family that will miss you. Devoted husband of his beloved wife Cecile Lalonde and a cherished father to Albert (Ilsa), Bernard (Muguette), Denise Charlebois (Larry) and Lorraine Cooper (Cecil). Predeceased by his daughter Lise. Grandfather of Chantal Charbonneau, Craig Barnaby (Rachael), Remi Charbonneau (Marjorie), Marc Vachon, Lyne Charbonneau, Manon Hunt (Mark), Guy Charbonneau (Rachel), Lucie Rivard (Michel) and Alanna Langille (Christopher). He also leaves behind 13 great- grandchildren David, Isabelle, Patrick, Catherine, Cassandra, Melyssa, Brianna, Mathieu, Jayce, Nick, Brad, Robert and Zoe. Son of the late Adelard Charbonneau, and the late Evelina Dussiaume. Brother of Cecile Poirier (late Paul), Reina Laplante (late Rolland), Yvette MacDonald (Paul Frechette). Predeceased by his brothers Hector, Elie and his sisters Emilienne Chartier, Henrietta Dubreuil and Aldea Bower. He will also be missed by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 1st at 10:30 a.m. in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes de Vanier, Church, 435 Montreal Road. The family wishes to thank Dr. Louise Coulombe, Anne, Isabelle, Jean-Pierre and Claude from the C.A.S.C.O. for their tenderness, care and support.
