BARBER, Virginia Elizabeth (Betsy). At Montreal General on Saturday, August 27, 2005 aged fifty-six years. Daughter of Virginia and the late Keith Barber. Sister of John Barber of Toronto and the late Mary Jane Barber Palin of Hamilton. Proud and loving aunt of Chris Palin, Andrew Palin and Frank (Dolly) Palin. Great-aunt of Thimothy and Emily Palin. Cousin of John and Judy Smith of Hamilton. She will be fondly remembered by her many friends whose support meant so much to her during her illness. Special thanks to Dr. Christine Legler, Dr. Lucie Gilbert and the nurses and the Oncology staff at the Montreal General Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 31 at 2 p.m. at St. Andrew's Dominion Douglas church, 687 Roslyn Ave. Donations in her memory may be made to the University's Women's Club of Montreal Public Foundation, 3529 Atwater, Montreal, Qc.
