BUCHANAN, WAUNITA (GESNER) The death of Waunita (Gesner) Buchanan wife of the late Donald Buchanan occurred on Friday August 26, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Queensbury, NB she was the daughter of the late Victor and Agnes (Buckley) Gesner. Waunita enjoyed sewing, knitting, making crafts and baking. She devoted her spare time for doing all of these things for her children and grandchildren. She also was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Fredericton. Waunita is survived by one son Donald Buchanan (Doris Rust) of Warburg, AB; three daughters Carolyn Buchanan (Dwight Kerr) of Fredericton, NB, Debbie Reynolds of Moncton, NB and Dea Breau (Carl) of Burtt's Corner, NB; six grandchildren Jennifer, Donald C. and Russell Buchanan, Krista Reynolds, Tiffany and Amber Breau; one brother Neil Gesner (Winnifred) of Fredericton, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by two brothers Nelson and Leo and one sister Marjorie Rumley. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at 12:00 noon from St. Theresa's Church with Father John Jennings officiating. Interment will take place in the Douglas Rural Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be Bev McCullough, Garvice Gesner, Grant Gesner, Gordie Gesner and Jamie Price.
