Opal Leslie September 20, 1918 - August 26, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Evergreen Funeral Chapel Peacefully in the early morning of August 26, 2005 Opal Emily Leslie passed away at the age of 87. Weep not for me, but courage take And love each other for my sake The rolling stream of life goes on until we meet again. She is survived by her husband Alfred; daughters Diane (Ed) Hamaliuk and Bonnie (Pieter) Koster; granddaughter Rene (Terry) Campbell; grandsons Wade (Shelly) Hamaliuk, and Craig Hamaliuk; great-granddaughters Melissa and Megan Campbell and Brynn Hamaliuk and great- grandson Braedyn Hamaliuk. Opal is also survived by her two sisters Aileen and Addie; two brothers Norman and Delis as well as numerous nephews and nieces. A Celebration of Opal’s Life will take place at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton, on August 30, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Lyle Richards officiating. In lieu of flowers donations to STARS Air Ambulance Bldg. 16, 29 Airport Road Edmonton, AB, are greatly appreciated.
