Samuel "Sam" Allan Rycroft May 24, 1916 - August 31, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Sands Funeral Chapel (Duncan) Passed away peacefully in Duncan, BC on August 31, 2005 at the age of 89 years. Samuel is survived by daughters Beverly and Allison; sons John Allan and Duane; grandsons Adrian, Geoffrey, Clinton, Clayton and Zakery. Samuel was predeceased by his loving wife Gert. He served in the Canadian Air Force, stationed in Britain during WWII. The family moved from Alberta to Victoria, BC where Sam worked as a superintendent at the Victoria Grain Elevators. Moving to Duncan in 1969, he retired to his first love, that of farming. Tpassed away peacefully in Duncan, BC on August 31, 2005 at the age of 89 years.
