Mrs. Eleanor Barnes (née Mytko) December 17, 1928 - August 27, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Richmond Funeral Home Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Predeceased by her husband, Robert in 1999. Dearly missed by her children, Michael (Karin) and Diane (Paul); grandchildren, Jonathon, Anna, Sharon, Darryl and Mark Barnes, and Nicole and Monique Boyer; sisters, Barbara Kalyn-Finn (John) and Betty Prior (Keith), nieces, nephews and many friends. Born in Saskatchewan, she was a long time resident of Richmond and active in the Ukrainian Cultural Society for many years. A devoted Mom and Grandma, she was always there with her love and support for her family and friends. A Celebration of Eleanor's Life will be held in the Chapel of the Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road, Richmond, BC on Saturday, September 10th, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Ukrainian Community Hall, 5311 Francis Road, Richmond.
