VEY, RONALD - Of Summerville, NB. passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday September 4th, 2005. He was born on January 7th, 1940 in Saint John NB. He was the son of the late John and Esther (Foster) Vey. Ron is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen (Sweet); five sons, Kenny (Crissy) Campbell, Peter Dalling, Bill Lundy, Tom (Kim) Lundy, Ronald (Linda) Vey; three stepsons, Christopher (Belinda) Vautour, Larry (Suzan) Vautour, Joe (Janice) Vautour; one daughter Lora (Shane) Savage-McCarthy; three step daughters, Mary (Ronald) Pinkney, Julie (Harry) Rose, and Penny (George) Hawboldt; two brothers Bruce (Tina), and Ken Lane; several grandchildren, and great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Ron was predeceased by brothers James, Douglas, and Joe; sisters, Dorothy, Elizabeth, Edith, Audrey, Kathleen, and Greta. Ron belonged to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 53. Funeral arrangements for Ron are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424), with visitations being held on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Tribute to a Veteran will be held at 7:15pm. on Tuesday evening. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11am from the Fundy Funeral Home "Chapel" Interment will take place following the service in Fernhill Cemetery.
