Freda E. Cameron 1917 - 2005 Freda E. Cameron, 88, widow of the late Leverett M. Cameron (September 22, 1995) of Moncton passed away at Spencer Memorial Home on Friday September 2, 2005. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Gertrude (Warner) Dauphinee. Freda was a member of the I.O.D.E. and an accomplished artist. Past President of the Moncton Art Society, member of the Group of 9 and a wonderful art teacher at the YWCA for over 15 years. Until recently she could still be found every Wednesday afternoon painting at her wonderful friend Kay's. Freda loved children and could be found at any time watching them color, paint, draw and play. She would often cuddle up to read to them. Her leisure time was spent relaxing at the cottage with family, reading and shopping. Freda will be sadly missed by her son, Robert (Bob) (Sandra), Moncton; grandchildren, Wendy Batten (John), Kimberly Eagles (Scott) and Scott Cameron (Dawn) all of Moncton; great grandchildren, Alex, Laura, Cameron, Anna, Tristen, Victoria and Amily; one brother, Warner Dauphinee, West Warwick, RI; several nieces and nephews. No visitation by request. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995)Thursday, September 8, 2005, 1:30pm. Reception following the service.
