Laurence "Larry" Kennedy (née Bruneau) June 22, 1920 - September 04, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel (Tecumseh) It is with sorrowful yet grateful hearts that we announce the peaceful transition of Laurence "Larry", our earthly angel, from our home to her heavenly home on Sunday, September 4, 2005. She was born in Ville-Marie, Quebec on June 22, 1920 and in 1945 she married her soulmate, Gerry Kennedy, in England. From this faith filled union were born Suzanne Brooks, Marnie and husband Pat Tremblay, Rick and Cheryl, Ron and wife Nina, Mary Catherine, Pat "Putsy" and Gerry and wife Jacky. Cherished grandma to Gerry (Betty), Bobbie, Mari-Tricia, Jennie (Nick), Matthew (Michelle), Kristopher (Kelly), Jonathan, Patrick, Allison (Shannon), Nicholas, Stephan, Michael, Derek, Kristin, Shawn (Amy), Kara, Kaitlin, Ryan (Melanie), Katie and Jordan and great-grandma to Andrew, Sydney, Jake, Emily, Ethan and Evie. Dear sister to Rita and husband the late George Lebel, the late Mathilde and husband Maurice Vaillancourt, the late Laura and husband Pierre Filiatrault, the late Jack Bruneau and wife Edith, the late Therese and husband the late Thomas Huffman and Marie-Claire and husband Bill Blake. Devoted and loving friend to Betty and her late husband Jim Bush and family. Will also be sadly missed by Tom and Diane Pearce and family, Kathi and husband Loris Vaccher and family and several in-laws, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830) on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers will be held on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at Most Precious Blood Church 1947 Meldrum Road, Windsor on Thursday, September 8, 2005 from 9:45 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Brian Jane will be the celebrant. Interment will follow at Windsor Memorial Cemetery. In kindness memorial donations to the Haiti Mission Fund c/o Vera Arkell 5845 Ninth St. LaSalle, ON N9H 1P3 would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Laurence Kennedy in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held in the fall of 2006. All are welcome.
