Maurice Cormier MEMRAMCOOK, NB -Maurice F.J. Cormier of Fort Worth, Texas passed away at his residence with his family by his side on Saturday, August 27, 2005 at the age of 62. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Zoel Cormier and the late Madeline Leger. He studied at College St-Joseph and University of Moncton. He started his career at Foster Grant and retired from Hoechst Celanese after 30 years in the Plastic division. He was a Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War. Maurice spent his life tracing his Acadian family genealogy, traveling and being very involved in his grandchildren's sports. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Niles) Cormier of 39 years of marriage; two daughters, Christine (Micheal) Taylor and Melissa Cormier both of Texas; three grandsons, Dylan, Drake, Hunter; mother-in-law, Florine Niles and her family and by several cousins and friends. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday September 8 at 7:00 pm at St. Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church, St. Joseph. Interment in the Parish cemetery.
