J. Edward Gaudet PETITCODIAC, NB - J. Edward Gaudet of Petitcodiac, passed away at the Moncton Hospital, on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at the age of 72. He was born in Miscouche, PEI on October 13, 1932, a son of the late Joseph and Jane (Steele) Gaudet. He was a furnace technician with Irving Oil, as well as employed with Purolator Courier, and provided mail delivery for Canada Post. He was a member of the Petitcodiac Baptist Church, the Petitcodiac Seniors Citizens Club, and the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 41, Petitcodiac. He is survived by his wife, Adelaide (Crandall) Gaudet; daughters, Sandra Gallant (Charlie) of Summerside, Brenda Arsenault of Charlottetown, Susan Doucette (Peter) of Summerside, Gwen MacAusland (Eric) of Truro, Darlene Cannon (Urban) of Lower Sackville; stepdaughter, Henrietta Ward (James) of Petitcodiac; sons, Murray (Cindy) of Musquodoboit, David (Janet) of Hammond Plains; stepsons, Harry (Katherine), Lawrence, Michael Wheaton all of Petitcodiac; sisters, Theresa Olafson and Eileen Gaudet, both of Summerside; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac. Visiting hours will be held from the Petitcodiac Baptist Church on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from the Petitcodiac Baptist Church on Thursday, September 8, 2005 at 1:30 pm, with Rev. Gordon Cook officiating. The burial will be held in Maplewood Cemetery.
