BAUER, MARY EMMA - The death of Mrs. Mary Emma Bauer, wife of the late Richard Bauer, occurred on Monday September 5, 2005 at the Turnbull Nursing Home. Born 1926 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late James and Sadie (Chase) Stackhouse. Mary is survived by her sons Stephen (Valerie) of Saint John and Peter (Margaret) of French Village; daughter Jane Abrams (Greg) of Grand Bay-Westfield; sisters Margaret Lee, Vivian Garrett (Robert), Shirley Stackhouse, Lorraine Titus and Frances Coloris (James) all of Saint John; four grandchildren Leah, Michael, Emily and Rachael; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Richard, her brother George Chase and sister Barbara Stackhouse predeceased her. By request there will be no visitations. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Thursday September 8, 2005 at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
