Helen Cormier l'Acadie Nouvelle - 30 septembre 2005 SAINTE-ANNE-DE-KENT - À l’Hôpital de Moncton, le jeudi 29 septembre 2005, à l’âge de 58 ans, est décédée Helen Cormier, épouse de Normand Cormier, domiciliée à Sainte-Anne-de-Kent. Née à Sainte-Anne-de-Kent le 25 février 1947, elle était fille de feu Frank Allain et de feu Monica Grattan. Outre son époux, elle laisse dans le deuil une fille, Lisa Cormier (Maurice) de Richibouctou-Village; deux fils: Chris et Timmy (Marie), tous deux de Sainte-Anne-de-Kent; une soeur, Rita Cormier (Edouard) de Sainte-Anne-de-Kent; deux frères: Harry (Lyda) de Sillikers et Ray (Anita) de New Maryland; deux petits-enfants: Shantay et Shane; trois tantes: Helen, Eileen et Pauline Grattan, toutes de Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Mme Cormier était technicienne en cardiologie à l’Hôpital Stella-Maris-de-Kent de Sainte-Anne-de-Kent et membre de l’Association des techniciens cardiologues. Elle était très active dans plusieurs comités paroissiaux, secrétaire du Foyer du Bonheur de Sainte-Anne-de-Kent depuis de nombreuses années, et a été bénévole pour l’Ambulance Saint-Jean pendant 17 ans. La dépouille mortelle sera exposée à compter de 14h, le vendredi 30 septembre, à la Maison funéraire Maillet ltée, 29, rue de l’Église à Bouctouche. Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Bouctouche, le samedi 1er octobre, à 11h. L’inhumation se fera au cimetière de Sainte-Anne-de-Kent. Heures de visites: le vendredi 30 septembre, de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et le samedi 1er octobre, de 9h à 10h45. Born in Sainte-Anne de Kent, NB on February 25, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Frank Allain and the late Monica Grattan. She was a Cardiologist Technician at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent for numerous years. She attended Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Anne de Kent. She was a member of the Cardiologist Technicians, she was very active in several parish committees, she was secretary of the Foyer du Bonheur, Sainte-Anne de Kent for the past several years, and a volunteer with Saint John Ambulance for 17 years. She is survived by her husband, Normand Cormier; one daughter, Lisa Cormier (Maurice) of Richiboucto-Village; two sons, Chris, Timmy (Marie) both of Sainte-Anne de Kent; one sister, Rita Cormier (Edouard) of Sainte-Anne de Kent; two brothers, Harry (Lyda) of Sillikers, Ray (Anita) of New Maryland; two grandchildren, Shantay, Shane; three aunts, Helen, Eileen, Pauline Grattan, all of Sainte-Anne de Kent, and several nephews and nieces. Resting at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche. Visiting hours on Friday, September 30, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Saturday, October 1 from 9 to 10:45 am. The Funeral Service will be held at Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Cemetery.
