Margaret Benot 1947 - 2005 Margaret Benot, 58, of Tower Dr., Dieppe, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2005 at The Moncton Hospital. Born July 7, 1947 in New Glasgow, NS, she was the daughter of Mary (MacAloney) Baker of Halifax and of the late Eugene Goodyear. A homemaker, Margaret was an active volunteer with the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada. Besides her mother, she will be sadly missed by her husband, Gérald "Gerry"; two daughters, Aline Samson (Herman) of Little Ance, NS, Marie Shannon of Moncton; a son, Peter Shannon (Estelle) of Moncton; her step-mother, Edith May Goodyear; nine grandchildren, Ryan, Candace, Kyle, Samanta, Sherrie, Amanda, Balinda, Melissa and Christopher; nine brothers and sisters, Jenny, Marjorie, Marion, Kenny, Marvin, Kalvin, Mertin, Robert, George. Besides her father she was predeceased by a sister, Jeannie. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:45). The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Parish prayers will be held at 8:30p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
