James (Jim) A. London James (Jim) A. London of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, September 17, 2005. Born in Moncton, son of the late Arthur and Margaret (Dirken) London. Jim was retired from the City of Moncton Fire Department with 31 years service, long time member of St. George's Anglican Church, and was former Church Warden, former vestry member and former choir member, former member of the Board of Directors at Elmwood Cemetery, A Past Member of Moncton L.O.L. #62 over 50 years membership, Past Grand Master of the Grand Black Chapter of NB, Past Grand Master of NB L.O.L., Past County Master, member of the R.B.P. #520 & a Past Prepectory. Past President of Moncton Legion #6 (1999). Jim was a veteran of the 2nd World War, served overseas with the 28th Field Battery & The 14 Field Regiment, 66 Battery with over 4 years service. Jim will be sadly missed by his stepdaughter, Geraldine Brown, Moncton; sisters, Geraldine Steeves (Earl), Moncton, and Dorothy London, Tillsonburg, ON; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Matilda (Laskey) (1991); and sister, Edith LeBlanc. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Tuesday 7 to 9. Moncton Legion #6 Memorial Service Tuesday 6:45pm, L.O.L. Memorial Service Tuesday 7pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, September 21, 2005, 1:30pm, Rev.
