ELGEE, OLLA IRENE The death of Olla Irene Elgee of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Howard J. Elgee occurred on Monday, September 19, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Williamsburg, NB, she was a daughter of the late John H. and Clara G. (Gallagher) Dorcas. Mrs. Elgee was a retired school teacher and homemaker, she was a member of the Nashwaaksis United Church, was past president of the U. C. W., active with the Red Cross and was past member of the Women's Institute. Mrs. Elgee is survived by two sons, David Elgee (Kathryn) of Coquitlam, BC and Donald Elgee (Charlene) of Ottawa, ON; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and one sister, Mavis A. Stacey (George) of Beaconsfield, PQ. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Murray, Russell, Claude and Irvine. There will be no visitation by request. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at 2 pm from the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. with Rev. Gil MacKenzie officiating. There will be a reception following in the adjoining fireside room. Interment will be held in the Sunny Bank Cemetery.
