IRVINE, ALETHA MARIE - The death of Aletha Marie Irvine occurred on September 20, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in St. Stephen, NB, daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Thelma (Clark) Irvine. She was a member of Glen View United Church where, over the years she served in many capacities including the board member, president of the UCW, CGIT leader, Sunday School teacher and a member of the church choir. Aletha worked for 23 years at NB Tel retiring from the Human Resources Recruiting Department in 1988. She was an active member of the Telephone Pioneers Loyalist Life Member Club. She is survived by her sister Edith Kirk, her aunt Janet Clark and several cousins. Aletha will also be dearly missed by her church family and many friends. Although there will not be any visiting the funeral service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2005, at 11:00 am, from Glen View United Church. Interment will take place at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery. Donations to Glen View United Church, Oncology Department of the Saint John Regional Hospital or the charity of choice would be appreciated.
