Leon "Bubbles" William LeBlanc Funeral arrangements by Campbell's Funeral Home Leon William (Bubbles) LeBlanc age 79 of Amherst passed away suddenly on Monday, September 19, 2005 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Amherst he was a son of the late Aldric and Helena LeBlanc. Leon was employed with the Town of Amherst for 26 years. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing and after his retirement he enjoyed his rocking chair and old western movies. He is survived by his wife of 57 years the former Laura Cormier; three sons Bill (Mary), Leon (Margaret) and Roger (Kim) all of Amherst; two brothers Sam (Bertha) and Ron (Rose) both of Amherst; six grandchildren Darrell, Billy, Heather, Natalie, Gregg, and Laura; 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Bubbles was predeceased by two sisters Dora Thibodeau and Evelyn Mc Cullum and brother Alfred and two great grandchildren in infancy. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 10 a.m. from Nativity of Our Lady Roman Catholic Church, Amherst with Father Vernon Driscoll officiating. Interment will take place in the St Charles-Nativity Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in Bubbles memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
