Michael Iwasienko October 14, 1922 - September 19, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Glen Eden Funeral Home (Winnipeg) Peacefully on Monday, September 19, 2005 Michael passed away at St. Boniface Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Irene, his 4 children; Joanne, Jacqueline, Valerie (Dan) Fortin, Michael A. (Candace) and 3 grandchildren; Michael C., Ashleigh and Caitlin. He also leaves his sister Theresa Batulla and nieces Chris, Darcy and Barb and sister-in-law Rosemary. He was predeceased by his parents Anna and Joseph and brother Fred. He retired in 1988, from his position with the Winnipeg School Division #1 as a Stationery Engineer. For 22 years he was treasurer for the C U P E Manitoba Division. He was a member of Manitoba Prostate Cancer Support Group. Mike loved his family very much and was very proud of his grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home with interment to follow. Many thanks to the caring staff of 6A South - St. Boniface Hospital.
