Elizabeth Jane Clifton May 03, 1918 - September 17, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Leyden's Funeral Home (Claresholm) Betty Clifton passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 17, 2005 in Claresholm, at the age of 87 years. Betty is the beloved wife of David Clifton of Claresholm, and dear mother of Colleen (Orval) Johnston of Cranbrook, BC. She is also survived by two grandsons Jason (Deanna) Johnston of Anzac, AB and Shane (Paula) Johnston of Maple Ridge BC; four great grandchildren Sarah, Hayle, Mitchell and Libby; and sister Meta Johns of Calgary. She was predeceased by her parents John and Sarah Finlay. Betty was born in Balyema, Northern Ireland and was raised in Claresholm where she resided most of her life. She was a member of The Victory Church. Funeral Service will be held at Leyden’s Funeral Home, 4079 – 1st Street West, on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Chuck Roth officiating. Interment to follow at Claresholm Cemetery.
