Joan (Julianna) Kuchmey August 28, 1924 - September 22, 2005 Funeral arrangements by L. G. Wallace Funeral Home The family of Joan Kuchmey wish to announce her peaceful passing at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Thursday, September 22, 2005, at the age of 81. Joan leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years, George and her treasured children Joe (Paula), Betty-Ann (Mario) and Debora (Michael). "Baba" will be remembered forever by her dear grandchildren Lia (Jason), Kyle, Tristan and Alyssa and by her first great-granddaughter Camryn. Joan will be reunited with her beloved parents Jozef and Anna Grabowiecki and her youngest son George Jr. She is survived by her only brother Walter (Irene) Grabowski and in-laws Anne Matschke, Helen and Frank Sudac and Caroline Taylor, as well as many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends. In accordance with Joan's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at Woodland Cemetery at a later date. We extend our most grateful thanks to all of the compassionate and caring medical staff at the Hamilton General Hospital (Emergency, Cardiac and 8th Floor South) and to Mom's kind caregiver Julie from Bayshore.
